Welcome

I only expect my travel companions (and me, Heather) to read this blog. If you have stumbled upon this missive, welcome.

We, The One Tank Gang, are a group of friends. Yes, money is tight and gas prices are high. CNN's "One Tank Trips in Five States" inspired us to gather our resources, pack a picnic lunch, climb into one of our automobiles and get the h-e-double-hockey sticks out of town now and again.

Ten Little Monkeys

Did you ever sing the “Ten Little Monkeys” song? If you have not, here are the lyrics to the version I learned:

“Ten little monkeys jumping on the bed.

One fell off and bumped his head.

Mama called the doctor said

No, more monkeys jumping on the bed.

Nine little monkeys jumping on the bed.

One fell off and bumped his head.

Mama called the doctor said

No, more monkeys jumping on the bed.”

The song continues in descending order until there are no monkey’s left.

IMG_1446One of our latest trips out was kinda like Ten Little Monkeys. See the screen shot of the GPS ? “No Route possible” for one of our first stops should have given us pause. But it didn’t. We forged on.

After dropping some items off at my mom’s house (despite help from the GPS) we headed out to Landers, California.

We were heading to the Integretron. what better One Tank than a building the was built on guidance from extra terrestrials? Integratron information is here.

We started in several cars from several locations with the expectation of meeting at the Integraton to try out a healing session.

At first there was ten.

One was called into work.

Then there was nine.

One took ill.

Then there was eight.

One crashed their car.

Then there was six.

Two were in the same car that broke down.

Then there was four.

One ran to help the two in the car and broke her leg.

Then there was three.

We three went to lunch.
